 About EOPD.ie
Early Onset Parkinson's Disease Ireland (EOPD.ie) is the national charity dedicated to supporting people diagnosed with Parkinson's at a younger age. While Parkinson's is often associated with older adults, thousands of people in Ireland are diagnosed during their working years, when they are building careers, raising families, paying mortgages, and planning for the future.

We exist to ensure that no one faces this journey alone. Through advocacy, education, community programmes, research partnerships, awareness campaigns, and evidence-based exercise initiatives, we are changing how Early Onset Parkinson's Disease is understood and supported across Ireland.

As a patient-led, remote-first organisation, we combine the insight of lived experience with the drive to create meaningful, lasting change. Despite our small team, we deliver national initiatives, influence policy, build strategic partnerships, and create opportunities that empower people with Early Onset Parkinson's Disease to live active, connected, and fulfilling lives.
