Programme Executive (Youth Work Specialism)

Support youth worker role: design and delivery of all island youth engagement initiatives, coordinating groups, and supporting a range of learning activities.

Co-operation Ireland is seeking a motivated individual committed to youth development, peacebuilding, and creating positive social impact, to join our Future Leaders Programme as a Programme Executive (Youth Work Specialism).

This exciting role involves working with young people aged 15–25 across the island of Ireland, supporting their development as future leaders and peacebuilders. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and delivery of innovative youth engagement initiatives, coordinate an all-island youth group, and support a range of learning, community engagement, and residential activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering engaging youth work programmes  
  • Supporting and mentoring young people from diverse backgrounds 
  • Coordinating programme activities and events across the island 
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and partners 
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on programme outcomes 

Location: Dublin or Belfast 
Salary:  ROI: €38,000–€45,000 /NI: £28,000–£34,000
