Anam Cara is registered Irish charity, delivering bereavement support services to bereaved parents.  We are seeking proposals from qualified audit firms for the provision of external audit services for an initial three-year term, for the financial years 2026, 2027 and 2028, with the option to extend for a further two years.

The appointment follows a planned rotation of our incumbent auditors in line with charity governance best practice and funder requirements.

The successful firm will carry out the statutory audit of our annual financial statements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (Ireland) (ISAs (Ireland), and in compliance with the Companies Act 2014, and Charities SORP (FRS 102).  Our financial year ends 31st December`, with audit completion required by Mid-May each year.

Anam Cara is funded through a combination of public funding, other grants and awards and fundraising. Experience in auditing Irish charities of comparable size and complexity in particular those with public grant funding is essential.
