Irish Girl Guides (IGG) is seeking a part-time Shop Manager (4 days per week) for their Guide Shop and Distribution Centre located at the National Training Centre in Tallaght. The shop primarily sells uniforms, badges, and merchandise to members via online and click-and-collect sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance: Manage shop administration, stock and sales analysis, report to the CEO and Finance Committee, and maintain financial records using MS Word, Excel, and Sage.

Stock Management: Source and purchase stock, manage inventory, and update the website.

Retail: Ensure high customer service standards, manage daily operations, and promote merchandise.

HR: Lead a small team, conduct recruitment, and train new staff.

Other: Liaise with various committees, contribute to the team, and perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements:

Experience in managing in a small business or shop.

Strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Excel and Word, and knowledge of Sage 50 accounts (WordPress experience is a plus).

Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, work with others.

Conditions:

29 hours per week at €15.91 per hour, with 21 days of annual leave (pro rata) and additional company days.
