Finance Admin & Payroll Officer
to join our team in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. Operating within the community and voluntary sector, our organisation provides essential crisis accommodation and a range of support services to women and children. This position is offered as a job share arrangement, providing an opportunity to lead our core financial process within a highly collaborative structure.
17.5hrs per week.
Key responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
- Execute timely payroll runs for core staff, relief workers and support personnel.
- Review and monitor payroll funding.
Statutory Compliance:
- Administer tax, expenses, pension deductions and regulatory filings in strict accordance with revenue guidelines.
Finance & Accounts:
- Budget preparation, variance and quarterly reporting, audit preparation, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, petty cash management.
Administration:
- Coordinate staffing logistics.
- Liaise with external partners including pension providers and financial stakeholders.
- Bridge admin and finance by aligning staff data with operational funding requirements.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum2 years’ experience in a payroll and finance role.
- Irish Payroll Association (IPASS) qualification or another relevant discipline, together with relevant financial experience.
- Ideal candidate will be analytic, detail orientated and trustworthy with excellent communication skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge of Thesaurus Payroll & BrightBooks Accounts.
- Experience of statutory/state funder reporting requirements.
- Experience of working in the community/voluntary sector.
Renumeration: Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
