Cork Community Pride is seeking expressions of interest from experts in the HR and legal fields based in Ireland to join the Board of Directors. Cork Community Pride would like to hear from individuals interested in shaping the future of Pride in Cork, who are willing to give time, energy, and vision to the organisation at an exciting time in its development.

Cork Community Pride was established in March 2026 and is informed by a history of LGBTQIA+ advocacy in Cork. The group leads in the organising of the Pride Family Picnic and Pride Parade in Cork city. This group is entirely volunteer led with an ethos on being by the community, for the community and not for profit.

The Board of Directors plays a crucial role in supporting Cork Community Pride’s team of volunteers, providing oversight and guidance on matters of legality, compliance, operations, and partnerships. Currently, the Board of Directors consists of professionals from the representative fields of Finance, Education and Business Strategy. The appointment of legal or HR experts to the companies Board of Directors is an opportunity to impact the organisation’s ambitious plans for development and sustainability over the coming years.

This is a voluntary role that minimally requires attendance at meetings online, typically occurring once every month.
