Counselling Coordinator (Part-Time)
Living Life Counselling is seeking an experienced and compassionate Counselling Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of our counselling service and provide guidance to our team of volunteer counsellors. This is an exciting opportunity for an accredited (or near-accredited) counsellor/psychotherapist who enjoys balancing clinical work, volunteer support and administration in a busy community-based service.
Salary Scale: € 35,100 to €44,304 pro rata
Hours: 13 hours per week
- Thursday: 12:45pm – 9:45pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 1:45pm
Location: Based primarily in our Bray Centre, with a co-located role across Bray and Arklow. Occasional cover in Arklow will be required, so access to transport is essential.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an accredited or nearly accredited counsellor/psychotherapist.
- Has experience in community counselling.
- Enjoys supporting and mentoring volunteer counsellors.
- Has strong administrative, organisational and computer skills.
- Has experience using databases, CRM systems and producing reports.
- Has excellent communication, assessment and record-keeping skills.
- Thrives in a busy, client-focused environment and can manage competing priorities effectively.
The Role
Key responsibilities include carrying out client assessments, writing up reports re: same, supporting volunteer counsellors, maintaining accurate records on our CRM, liaising with third parties (GP’s, Psychiatrists, etc), and helping to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our centres. This role has a significant administrative component, and is very volunteer facing.
