The Role:

• ChildVision is seeking to recruit Board Directors (charity trustees), ideally with a background and expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Fundraising
• Marketing/Communications/Advocacy
• Finance/Audit/Risk
• The Board are particularly interested in individuals with relevant Board experience in the disability sector and/or sector knowledge in relation to Health Services provision (including PDS) or visual impairment. 

General Trustee duties of a Charity Trustee:

• Comply with the Charity’s governing document
• Ensure charity is complying with its charitable purpose for the public benefit
• Act in the best interest of the charity
• Act with reasonable care and skill
• Manage the assets of your charity 

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Providing input into and supporting the strategic direction of the Not-For-Profit organisation and contributing with insight, oversight, and experience of strategy formulation in the sector
• Policy implementation as required
• Joining one of the sub-committees
