Meet Your Facilitator
Deirdre O'Grady brings over 30 years of experience working in healthcare, supporting people with a wide range of disabilities and abilities. Her qualifications reflect her deep commitment to this work, with 12 years of academic studies in the area.
But her most powerful knowledge comes from life itself. Deirdre lives with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a rare congenital condition, as well as severe osteoarthritis. She’s also a parent to two neurodivergent children with autism, ADHD, and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
This mix of professional expertise and personal insight shapes every aspect of AbilityWise’s work — from the way we design our training, to the way we connect with people and organisations.
