International Women’s Day 2026
International Women’s Day 2026
This International Women’s Day we're thrilled to be joined by a panel of activists who have worked to empower women and girls in having access to justice, both judicial and social.
The UN 2026 International Women’s Day theme is “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls.” It calls for action to break down barriers to equal justice. These include discriminatory laws, weak legal protections, and harmful social norms that undermine the rights of women and girls. We'll hear from panelists about their own experiences with justice, followed by an open discussion with questions from attendees.
We will also allow time for attendees to breakout into smaller groups, network and share their own experiences.
This year, the United Nations will observe International Women’s Day on 9 March. The focus will be on equal justice, linking to the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70).
