IT Member Network Launch
IT Member Network Launch
The Wheel is launching a new network for IT staff and volunteers. This network will help members connect, share knowledge, explore trends, and support each other in delivering secure and reliable technology services.
The network will promote best practices and provide a space for advice, case studies, and practical insights. It’s open to both seasoned IT professionals and those new to IT, Information Systems, and Cybersecurity roles. Members will build skills, stay current, and strengthen peer connections.
In partnership with Virtual Routes, a nonprofit that secures Critical Community Infrastructure in five European countries, the first session will introduce the Cybersecurity Services Center programme. This programme offers free, non-intrusive cybersecurity services to selected organisations in Ireland. Services include web scanning, VPN access, phishing simulations, email security testing, hardware security keys, and expert guidance for implementation.
The session will also cover effective web vulnerability scanning and how to gain real value from it. This will help IT managers move from just running scans to reducing risks through better planning, interpretation, and action. A Q&A will follow at the end.
Join us to meet your peers, learn more about the network and contribute to its agenda.
