Recruit, Retain & Reap the Rewards: Why Age Diversity Matters

83% of business leaders say multigenerational workforces are key to their growth and long-term success but Ageism inhibits Age Diversity in the workplace. Therefore we are setting ourselves up to fail, as leaders, as businesses and as a society.

This training sets out to avoid this disastrous scenario.

In particular, this session will:

  • Set the scene – so that we can understand the competitive environment and the demographic landscape
  • Enhance our knowledge – so that we can become longevity literate
  • Shift our mindset – so that both embrace the Zoomers (Gen Z : the newest generation in the workplace) and recognise the benefits of hiring experienced talent
  • Challenge our biases – so that can catch, call and change our behaviour and encourage others to do the same
  • Set ourselves up for success - ‘If you don’t have an age strategy; you don’t have a growth strategy’.

This webinar is a collaboration between The Wheel and Carmichael as part of Charity Trustees' Week 2025.
