A Just Transition: Building Communities That Thrive, Not Just Survive
A just transition isn’t just about moving away from carbon — it’s about moving toward connection, creativity, and community resilience. In this engaging session, Averil Rafferty explores how social enterprises and community groups can lead that shift by weaving together environmental awareness, local empowerment, and the science of play.
We’ll look at how inclusive, low-cost approaches to co-created projects can reduce burnout, build trust, and make communities more adaptive in uncertain times. Expect honest insights, practical examples, and a reminder that the future belongs to those who can play well together.
