Do you want to achieve project success through positive working with stakeholders?
In this session we will explore a key area in project management: ensuring successful engagement and outcome with stakeholders.
Your facilitator, Jean, will share stories of successful and challenging projects and great ideas from Open University teaching. We start with identifying and understanding the stakeholders who can influence our projects and are impacted by them. We then move onto planning stakeholder management activities to deliver projects successfully together.

Meet Your Presenter

Jean Gamester is the lead educator on the Open University project management microcredential and teaches leadership, creativity and innovation. Jean also supervises MBA and HRM Masters students on their final dissertations and is a student experience manager, supporting students and tutors to achieve their goals.
Jean's practice background is in leading transformation programmes and interim management across a variety of sectors. Jean is also a volunteer leader for an international not-for-profit, which has included serving on the international board. Her doctoral research is in the area of practitioner development.
Jean was a student in the Open University before beginning teaching with them in 2019, starting with one module, but over time it became her main role. Jean continues to teach with Open University due to their social purpose of being available for everyone and enjoys delivering tutorials, discovering new things and gets greate satisfcations in seeing people grow.
