Community Fundraising is not just about running events, it’s also about the opportunity to develop a movement of volunteer fundraisers to grow your organisation.
Having 1 or 2 successful community events is a great start but how do you develop your community fundraising without just adding more events to your portfolio?
This Community Fundraising Workshop focuses on building on the support you have for your existing events and campaigns and growing this support into a sustainable programme.
This workshop will cover:
- Volunteer motivations and how you ensure your volunteer fundraisers are feeling valued
- Talent spotting and how to maximise the potential of your superstar supporters
- Empowerment of volunteers to becoming advocates for your organisation
- Developing committee-led fundraising.

Meet Your Facilitator
Kevin Delaney is a leading nonprofit specialist with over 20 years experience working with and for nonprofit across Ireland and beyond. Kevin founded Academy Street Workshop to help amazing people build stronger organisations that achieve great things.
Kevin’s nonprofit adventures have led him to speak on stages and in spaces to fundraisers, volunteers, board members and leaders in: Oslo, London, Rome, Amsterdam, Nashville, Navan, Lisbon, Dublin and more. He is a much sought after nonprofit trainer and lectures on the Certificate in Fundraising for Charities Institute Ireland. He holds a Diploma in Fundraising Management and is a qualified LEGO Serious Play facilitator.
