Governance for Voluntary Organisations

Join us for this workshop on governance best practice for voluntary organisations.

Running a nonprofit on a purely voluntary basis is an increasingly challenging task. Funders and the wider public are expecting more and more in terms of transparency, accountability, efficiency and effectiveness. This workshop will give committee/board members insights into what it takes to achieve the best outcomes.

Your facilitator, Senan Turnbull, will bring participants through key approaches to being highly organised and how to avoid many of the issues which hold organisations back. He will advise on the best structures and practices to maximise outcomes and to give the committee/board members a clear sense of how they can succeed in their efforts.

This workshop is designed for organisations who have no paid staff in management and administration roles.
