Are You Ready for Research?
Are You Ready for Research?
Are you interested in research to support your organisation’s services and advocacy?
At The Wheel, we are committed to engaged research, which is a way of studying or tackling societal challenges that is done with community partners, not just for them. We want to see our members and the wider sector taking a more active role in research through partnership in research projects that will lead to more evidence-based services and advocacy. This is why we have undertaken the EU funded project RISE: Engaged Research in the Social Economy, which will deliver training and awareness building activities for community partners in engaged research.
If you’d like to explore the potential of research for your organisation, come along to this information event on Thursday, 18 September, 10am to 12pm, which will answer the question of Are you Ready for Research?
The webinar will introduce the concept of engaged research for our sector and highlight the opportunities it offers, including:
- How it can benefit your organisation
- How to assess your organisation’s readiness
- More about our RISE project and how to apply to be part of our training pilot so that you can become “research ready”!
