Workshop to develop new projects to support Social Innovation, Social Enterprise & Community - Dublin, 11 Sept

Posted on 8 Aug 2019

Communities face many challenges.  Social innovation, social enterprise and community-based actions are tools used to help communities to face these challenges.  These are proactive tools; communities identify the issues affecting them and use these tools to develop appropriate responses and engage other stakeholders in delivering these responses.  This workshop which helps identify issues and possible solutions that can allow communities and stakeholders to develop new projects to solve current issues.

The aim of the workshop is to share ideas and help focus attention on new solutions.  One option is using EU-funded programmes to support projects that meet unmet needs and have particular sub programmes to support communities and society.  So, have you ever said something like ‘that is terrible, somebody should do something about x, y or z’ then now is your chance to identify the areas of need and allow us to shape projects that can address many of these needs.  Issues such as gaps in service provision, specific groups within society that need additional support etc.  If you have ideas then come along and inform the discussion.
