Webinar: How COVID-19 brought disinformation to Ireland - 3 July
European Parliament Liaison Office in Ireland invites you to an upcoming online event on the topic ‘How COVID-19 brought disinformation to Ireland’ jointly organised with thejournal.ie this Friday, 3 July at 1pm.
A panel of experts will explore another way the pandemic has changed our lives by examining how it brought disinformation to Ireland. The panel will also look at the nefarious actors playing a role in the spread of disinformation and how to fact check. The online event will include contributions and discussions from Billy Kelleher, MEP, Christine Bohan, thejournal.ie FactCheck project, and Nikola Aitken, FullFact. A speaker from the European External Action Service will also be joining us.
The event will take place via Zoom and start with a contribution from each of the speakers followed by Q&A with participants.
