Unit 18 Upcoming Events
Please find below a list of UNIT 18 upcoming Events:
Trinity in the Community
It's beginning to feel a bit more like Spring and we have plenty happening in Unit18 over coming months for you to get out and about. It is always nice to see new groups in the space and since February, we have welcomed many newbies ranging from Trinity zoologists who facilitated a session with the Trinity Access Programmes linked St Laurence O'Toole national school, to Tog Hackerspace (pictured above). Tog facilitated our first Repair Cafe, fixing everything from steamers and pasta makers to hair straighteners and toy trains! We hope to bring them back for another event in September.
Dublin City Learning Festival
Unit18 is celebrating this year's Dublin Learning City Festival with The Library of Trinity College. Seán Adderley will use beautiful imagery sourced from the College's Digital Collections and help you design and make your own handcrafted notebook, combining simple stitch-binding with expressive calligraphy and bold lino printing techniques.
As part of the festival, our neighbour, St Andrew's Resource Centre, is organising a Story-telling and music session on Friday 24 April, 2.30 - 4.20pm. All welcome.
The aim of the Dublin City Learning Festival is to ensure that education and learning is accessible for all citizens of Dublin, in traditional and non-traditional settings.

The aim is to map Dublin through the memories of its residents, preserving intergenerational stories while building stronger community connections and challenging institutional barriers.
