THE PEOPLE OF THE GREAT RIVER - Invitations to Book launch & Seminar/Video Launch
- Book launch/drinks reception on Friday, 19 May 6:30pm.
- Seminar/video launch followed by a light lunch on Saturday, 20 May 10:30am.
The People of the Great River is about the Tonga people of Zimbabwe and their struggle for their rights over the last 30 years. Especially their right to education, literacy and development. The author of the book will be in Ireland and is one of the speakers at the events; the artist who illustrated the book and the video will also be in Ireland and will speak. The editor and member of the video production team, Michael Hanly will also be on the panel.
