Overcoming Imposter Syndrome workshop

Posted on 17 Feb 2021

To celebrate International Women’s Day 2021, join Fighting Blindness at this online event exploring Imposter Syndrome and how we can overcome it.

Imposter syndrome is the overwhelming feeling that you don't deserve your success. It is the suspicion that your achievements are down to luck, good timing or just being in the “right place at the right time.”

A study published in the International Journal of Behavioural Sciences said that as many 70% of people could experience imposter syndrome at some point in their life.

Unfortunately, imposter syndrome is common among workers in Ireland. A survey conducted by Taxback.com in their Workforce Survey Series found that 38% of workers have suffered from imposter syndrome, with women more likely to suffer from it, according to the survey.

This International Women's Day, Fighting Blindness is delighted to welcome two experts to discuss the issue and how we can begin to tackle these feelings of inadequacy. Book your free ticket now.
