New Publication - Our Connecting Cultures: Fostering Community Integration Through Global Citizenship Education
Meath Partnership are very excited to start the new year with the publication of our Connecting Cultures: Fostering Community Integration Through Global Citizenship Education.
This report firstly outlines the position of Global Citizenship Education (GCE) in Ireland and the current situation regarding migrants/refugees/asylum seekers in County Meath.
Secondly, the report provides the results of a survey carried out with migrants/refugees/asylum seekers, Adult and Community Education practitioners and volunteers. The survey gauged the level of awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the effects of climate change.
Finally, based on the research and survey results, Meath Partnership set out key recommendations on how to adopt GCE practice that will bring about transformative change and meaningful integration.
