Invitation to Quote / Specification- Lighting Designer / Production Manager

The Playhouse Theatre Peacebuilding Academy is inviting a Lighting Designer / Production Manager (Shared Duties) to quote for ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN 1972: Voices from the Heart of The Troubles by Damian Gorman, directed by Kieran Griffiths. Damian is working with seven people impacted by 1972, the worst year of the ‘Troubles’. Through this production seven people will tell their own story of that year.

The Lighting Designer /Production Manager should be available from end of February. Production dates at The Playhouse Wednesday 22nd to Saturday 25th April, and Seamus Heaney HomePlace for one performance on May 1st. Vacancy- Project Development Officer – Street Talk

The Playhouse in Derry~Londonderry are seeking a Project Development Officer to be responsible for the overall co-ordination, direction and programming of The Playhouse’s Street Talk Programme. 40 Hours Contract until December 2021. Salary: £25,900. Street Talk is a multi-year project that will improve relations between the PSNI and young people who have had negative encounters with the Police, are at risk of becoming offenders or who are victims of crime. This is a regulated position as defined by The Protection of Children / vulnerable adults and Vulnerable Adults (NI) Order 2003.

The Playhouse in Derry~Londonderry is seeking applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer. Accountable to Chair and non-executive board and responsible for Playhouse senior management team and finance manager. Hours 40 hours per week. Package £45,591- £48,529.

The Playhouse is based in Artillery Street, Derry~Londonderry, the second largest city in Northern Ireland.  One of Ireland’s leading award-winning, multi-disciplinary community art resource centres, The Playhouse was established in 1992 by Pauline Ross with a grant of just £300.
