Community fundraising often feels like a constant juggle. You’re constantly balancing immediate campaign delivery with long-term strategy, usually while feeling like there isn’t enough time to actually think about where you’re going, how well you're doing, or how to improve.

At Academy Street Workshop, we believe that the best strategies aren’t imposed—they are built in collaboration. We also believe that to grow your income, you first need the space to pause.

What is the Community Fundraising Collective?

It's a 12-month, structured peer-learning and mentoring programme designed specifically for Irish and UK charities with a focus on Community Fundraising. It’s a space for fundraisers who want to move beyond short-term activity and build a strategically sound community fundraising model that actually works in the real world.

How it works:

The programme is designed to be supportive, not overwhelming. It combines individual focus with collective creativity:

• 12 Monthly 1:1 Mentoring Sessions: Each member of the collective received 12 fully personalised sessions to work on your specific community fundraising strategy, volunteer management, and team confidence.
• 4 Quarterly Group Workshops: The Collective comes together for 4 half-day sessions where we "pause" to share best practices, agree measurables and solve problems. We use LEGO® Serious Play® to help plot strategy in 3D and find creative solutions to organizational barriers.
• Members-Only WhatsApp Community: A private space to ask questions, share resources, and celebrate wins with peers who truly understand the challenge.

The Collective is designed to offer a clear return on your time and investment. While the standard value of these components as an individual organisation is €4,200, the annual membership fee for the Collective is €1,800 per organisation.
