COVID-19 & Impact on Social Welfare Payments - 30 Sept

The INOU will be hosting a training session on COVID-19 and its impact on Social Welfare payments. We will also be discussing the COVID-19 Wage Subsidy Scheme and the tax implications for those on COVID-19 payments. This session is targeting those who are working with people in receipt of these payments, who wish to know both the implications and the opportunities provided by being on a COVID-19 related payment.

Topics covered include:

  • Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP)
  • Access to employment schemes and training/education options from PUP
  • Wages Subsidy Scheme (WSS)
  • Tax implications for both PUP and WSS.

The session will take place on Wednesday 30 September from 10am to 12pm online through the zoom platform.  The cost of the session is €50 per person.  Places on the session will be limited to allow for questions, answers and discussion.
