Cloth Nappy Library Ireland announce Earth Baby Fair 2023 line-up
Earth Baby Fair is back in Maynooth this 22 April - a fun day out for all the family. A baby and parenting fair with a focus on sustainability.
As the event is hosted by Cloth Nappy Library Ireland, it is a perfect time to talk to volunteers about modern cloth nappies - how to use them and get tips from parents who have tried and tested them on their own kids.
Joining the fair are over 25 stands including fantastic businesses like Fauna Kids, Earthmother, The Nappy Market and Rainbow Kids Boutique. Also joining us are wonderful community groups like La Leche League, Kildare Wildlife Rescue and Baby Wearing Ireland.
We appreciate how expensive family days out are, so at Earth Baby Fair - KIDS GO FREE!! And we have an extensive line up to keep them busy while you connect and chat with friends. They will enjoy a junk art area, storytelling, face painting, a play area and fun with the Think Before You Flush campaign with Clean Coasts.
Big and small kids can enjoy a Pokémon and biodiversity talk. Both novices and master trainers are welcome. Learn about Pokémon and animals - games, quizzes and a kid-led talk about Pokémon and biodiversity.
Other key speakers on the day include refillz a Kildare based Zero Waste shop, Gabriella from The Clutter Fairy and Lisa, a wonderful artist from FatJoy, will speak about positive attitudes towards our bodies.
For some added fun we are taking part in the Great Cloth Diaper Change! A world wide event over the weekend to see how many cloth nappies can be changed at the one time. All to raise awareness of cloth nappies and their benefits for babies, our pocket and the environment.
The fair is kindly sponsored by Kildare County Council as part of their National Circular Economy Events. In our CE zone we will have a swapping area. Bring along kids books, funky kids clothes and seeds and swap with others.
Earth Baby Fair is the main fundraiser for Cloth Nappy Library Ireland. A national group run solely by volunteers who help those interested in modern cloth nappies by offering information and a try before you buy loan service.
The Earth Baby Fair will take place at the Glenroyal Hotel, Maynooth, Co. Kildare on Saturday 22nd April 2023 (Earth day itself) from 10am-4pm. Tickets are €6 per adult and KIDS GO FREE! Tickets available online and at the door.
