Be Our Guest: Shaping Skills, Shaping Society (26 Nov, Dublin)

Posted on 4 Nov 2025

We invite you to join us for a landmark event that will position the nonprofit sector at the heart of Ireland’s evolving skills ecosystem.

  • When: Wed, 26 November 2025. 9.30am - 1.30pm (Including lunch)
  • Location: Alex Hotel, Dublin 2 – Ground Floor, and Accessible.

With rapid social, economic and environmental changes driving an increased urgency in national skills policy and ambition, the nonprofit sector has a central role in providing lifelong learning opportunities across society and building a skilled, inclusive workforce.

We are inviting stakeholders from across the community and voluntary sector, government and the wider skills landscape to come together to explore opportunities for collaboration and shared goals. This gathering will bring together sector skills thought leaders and nonprofit skills stakeholders to shape a shared vision for the future of learning, workforce development, and collaboration in the community and voluntary sector.

Together, we will:

  • Showcase the community and voluntary sector’s critical role in Ireland’s skills system.
  • Explore shared priorities and opportunities for collaboration across government, education providers, and the nonprofit sector.
  • Highlight the impact of investment in skills on people, communities, and the wider economy.
