UCD Social Sciences Internship Programme 2025/2026

Would you be interested in having a bright & enthusiastic UCD student work in your organisation for 12 weeks? 

UCD Social Sciences internship programme runs in the Autumn and Spring terms each year. Students, in their 3rd year of study, have the option of doing a full time internship in an organisation of their choice. Students come from a wide range of subject areas including: sociology, social policy and social justice, information and communication studies, politics & international relations and economics. 

If a student decides to do their internship in an Irish registered nonprofit, and if the nonprofit is not in a position to pay the student, UCD will contribute a stipend of €600 to allow the student the opportunity to participate in the internship with the organisation.
