Neighbourhood Network supports neighbours to connect and to work together. We encourage communities to reach out to those who still may be isolating, through fun and friendly socially distant activities.

We’re passionate about building community in neighbourhoods, reducing loneliness and kick-starting ideas for positive community participation.

What is your goal? 

At Neighbourhood Network our vision is that everyone has the opportunity to be connected in a neighbourhood group and feel included and at home in their communities. We believe that building connections between neighbours increases the strength and leads to more inclusive, healthier and happier communities.  

How have you been working towards it? 

We run events such as Street Feast which gives people the chance to connect with their neighbours. Throughout lockdown we began running projects such as our Community Activity Challenge and our Time Capsule programme which offered alternative ways for communities to bond. We also share resources for communities via our blog, newsletter and social media accounts. 

How has being a member of The Wheel helped? 

The Wheel has been a great resource for learning about funding opportunities and for courses.
