NACEC: Ireland's Enterprise Hub Network

The National Association of Community Enterprise Centres (NACEC) represents a network of 250+ Enterprise Ireland funded centres and hubs across the Republic of Ireland.

Formally established in 2008 and drawing together a number of pre-existing regional networks, NACEC’s primary role is to support and develop the interests of community enterprise on a national basis.

What is your organisation’s mission/vision/goal? 

The Vision of NACEC is to power community enterprise, driving balanced, sustainable economic growth by enabling centres and hubs to be the game-changers they strive to be in their communities. 

How have you been working towards this goal? 

As the national representative network of enterprise, digital, sectoral and co-working locations in Ireland we work across the regions to support the work of enterprise centres within communities, supporting the growth of sustainable business and community-based enterprises 

How has being a member of The Wheel helped your organisation in its work? 

NACEC CLG has just taken membership of The Wheel.  We look forward to working with many of the social enterprise actors to support common goals across the regions.
