Sage Advocacy’s mission is to promote, protect and safeguard the rights and dignity of older people, vulnerable adults, and healthcare patients through individual and systemic advocacy. Sage provided information, support and advocacy services to more than 12,000 people (cases & queries) in 2024 and demand for its services is growing. The work of Sage on behalf of clients is independent of family, service provider or systems interests. The service is free of charge and confidential. In the context of recent and planned legislative, health and social care developments, of growing demand for our services and of our 2nd Statement of Strategy ‘The Next Stage’, Sage is now recruiting for the following roles:
Legal Advisor (Full time x 1, Part time x 1)
The primary purpose of the Legal Adviser is to provide timely and effective internal legal advice, guidance, and support to Sage Advocacy staff and volunteers working with and on behalf of older people, vulnerable adults, and survivors of institutional abuse. This support is focused on more complex casework that may have a legal dimension.
Safeguarding Lead x 1
The purpose of the Safeguarding Lead is to act as the primary safeguarding lead for Sage and to manage and ensure the quality of safeguarding casework and related activities across all regional teams and all areas of Sage’s activities. This will be achieved through oversight and analysis, ensuring follow up and effective management of safeguarding concerns brought to the attention of the service and ensuring that all casework with a safeguarding element is supported by clear policy and practice guidelines and review and learning opportunities as well as case audit.

Call for EOI – Data & Quality Analyst x 1
We are now inviting Expressions of Interest for a Data & Quality Audit Analyst to support our quarterly and annual reporting activities. This role is project-based, with the successful candidate engaged on a short-term basis each quarter to compile and analyse key metrics as agreed with the Management Team. Responsibilities will include tasks such as transforming complex data into meaningful insights for internal and external stakeholders, using Salesforce and Excel or other tools to ensure data integrity, clarity, and strategic value.
