  • Heritage Keepers
  • The Hare’s Corner
  • ReFarm
  • Ongoing and developing work in the Burren region

Key Details

Salary: €38,000 – €44,000 (pro-rata where applicable)

Flexible working: Part-time options available

Location: Kinvara, with hybrid options

Contract type: initially one year with view to extension

Benefits: PRSA pension with employer contribution

Role Description

To support the planning, coordination, and delivery of Burrenbeo Trust programmes, ensuring high-quality implementation and meaningful engagement with participants, communities, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of one of our national programmes (e.g., Heritage Keepers, Hare’s Corner, ReFarm)
  • Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and communications for programme activities
  • Engage with participants, partners, and community stakeholders
  • Assist in monitoring, reporting, and evaluating programme impact
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of programme content and delivery
  • Provide administrative and operational support across programmes
  • Collaborate closely with team members across the organisation

Core Requirements

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated experience, interest or commitment to heritage, environment, or agriculture
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills


Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Experience in workshop delivery or facilitation
  • Knowledge of ecology, biodiversity, heritage or sustainable agriculture
  • Experience working with community-led initiatives
  • IT skills – including ExCel, qGIS
