The Food and Health Project at South Dublin County Partnership are seeking applications for the training of Healthy Food Made Easy Peer Leaders
Trained Peer Leaders will have the opportunity to deliver the Healthy Food Made Easy programme within the Clondalkin and Tallaght areas on a contractual basis (approx. 2-3 courses per year). Healthy Food Made Easy (HFME) is a 6 week programme supporting people to engage in healthier eating habits.
The aim of HFME is to improve participant’s nutritional knowledge and to encourage them to put it into practice in their everyday life. All HFME Peer Leaders receive training in the current HSE guidelines based on the food pyramid and fundamental group facilitation skills.
Experienced Food and Health Leaders and HSE Community Dietitians will facilitate this training.
Training Venues & Dates
Venue: Rowlagh Community Centre, Neilstown Rd, Clondalkin, D22 VY46
Dates: November 17th, 18th & 19th 2025
Time: 10am-4pm
Who should apply? Those with an interest in healthy eating, who are flexible and available to deliver courses during the day and possibly in the evening. An openness to work with a diverse range of individuals and groups is necessary.
Applicants must have access to their own vehicle suitable for transportation of equipment such as portable oven, manuals, food items etc.
