Development Support Worker

Kinship Care Ireland are recruiting for a Part time Development Worker.

About Us

Kinship Care Ireland works with and on behalf of families, to create a better understanding of kinship care and ensure that the specific needs of carers, children and young people are acknowledged and addressed.

Our Mission is to promote the recognition, rights and entitlements of children, young people, and carers in kinship families, through the provision of information, support and advocacy, for systems and legislative change.

The Role: Kinship Care Ireland Development Worker

We are seeking a committed and compassionate professional to join our team as Kinship Care Ireland Development Worker on a part-time basis (21 hours per week). This is a meaningful opportunity for someone passionate about supporting and empowering kinship families across Ireland.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a passion for advocacy, family support, or community development, capable of working both collaboratively and independently. You will be confident working with families and external agencies, while contributing to the supportive and inclusive culture of the Treoir team.

This is a one-year fixed-term contract offering the chance to make a real difference in the lives of kinship carers and the children they support.
