What you will do
As CE Supervisor you will ensure the effective and efficient management and co-ordination of the human, financial and material resources of up to 17 participants on our CE Project based on site in Ardeen Cheshire Home, Shillelagh, Co. Wicklow working closely with the Sponsoring Committee to maximise opportunities for participants through training and development towards long term employment or further education.
Key Responsibilities
In conjunction with Cheshire Ireland’s Head of Finance and the Finance Department, you will:
Administer and maintain DSP accounts and budgets, including payroll.
Prepare and monitor monthly claims for materials and training through Welfare Partners.
Liaise with the nominated accountant regarding end-of-year accounts.
Ensure all CE scheme accounts are prepared annually for audit purposes in line with DSP requirements.
Assist on yearly audits.
Apply for new projects every three years.
In conjunction with Cheshire Ireland’s Management, you will:
Provide development and training opportunities for 17 participants.
Undertake ongoing supervision and support for participants in relation to accessing further employment and development opportunities.
Devise individual learning plans (ILPs) for all participants, together with Cheshire Ireland line managers, to ensure the goal of gaining relevant experience and qualifications for long-term employment is achieved.
Source QQI and other accredited training courses.
Review ILPs regularly and update records on Welfare Partners.
Prepare work schedules for participants in conjunction with line managers.
Ensure all materials and equipment required for work schedules are in place for participants.
Install and manage an effective timekeeping record system for participants on the scheme.
