Pobal at 30: Invitation to Enhancing Social Inclusion in 2023 - Galway Regional Event, 6 Sept

This year, Pobal is celebrating its 30th Anniversary and it is Pobal's intention to demonstrate the progress made over the last three decades to achieve, social inclusion, equality and community development through a series of regional events.

'Enhancing Social Inclusion in 2023 - Galway Regional Event' taking place on 6 September, 2023, is the second of three regional events to mark our anniversary.

The focus of the day will be on Pobal, Government and communities in the Galway region working together to create an inclusive society. 

Joe O’Brien TD, Minister of State with Responsibility for Community Development and Charities at the Department of Rural and Community Development will attend the event and deliver the keynote address.

Galway Event - 6 Sept

Pobal’s second regional event, celebrating it's 30th Anniversary, will take place in Galway on 6 September 2023.  The event will be held in the Ardilaun Hotel, Taylor’s Hill from 9am.

The focus of the day will be on Pobal, Government and communities in the Galway region working together to create an inclusive society.

A further event is planned for Cork on 29 September, and the final event of the year will be the Pobal National Conference in November in Dublin Castle.
