So, you want to start your journey to improving levels of staff engagement in your organisation? Quality Matters can help!

Quality Matters are the leading providers of staff engagement support for the nonprofit sector in Ireland. Since 2021, Quality Matters have supported over 50 nonprofit and social services organisations to measure levels of staff engagement and develop staff engagement strategies.

Their expertise can help your organisation attract and retain staff, drive innovation, and improve performance. Engaged staff will ultimately result in improved outcomes for your clients and service users.

  • The focus will be explaining how nonprofits and charities can improve staff engagement by participating in validated tools that measure both work and employee engagement used around the world, including Quality Matters’ Engagement Insight Tool for the nonprofit sector in Ireland.
  • Participants will receive training on steps to measure levels of engagement, analysing engagement data, identifying areas for improvement, facilitating a prioritisation session with staff, and co-creating actions to improve the workplace experience for your organisation.

Learning Outcomes

The learning outcomes are to:

  • Learn about the internal factors that can help improve (or negatively affect) staff engagement in an organisation.
  • Explain strategies and approaches to gradually develop staff engagement
  • Understand how to co-create a staff engagement strategy with your team to help improve the level of engagement,

Testimonials

‘Women’s Aid is committed to creating and maintaining a positive workplace environment and organisational culture. Hearing directly from all our team is vital to ensure we are achieving this. The Quality Matters Staff Engagement Survey is one very useful tool we use to hear from staff and identify both how we are doing, and where we can continue to improve to be a place where people want to work. S. Benson, CEO, Women’s Aid

“We’ve found the Engagement Insight Tool very useful to track our engagement levels year on year, as well as against the benchmark of other organisations in the sector. Quality Matters are great to deal with and make the process very seamless.” E. McDonnell, Head of People & Culture, Airfield Estate

“The Engagement Insight tool gave us a baseline assessment of where we were at as an organisation and highlighted areas of focus for our work plan for the year ahead. Our results informed our strategy plan and ongoing vision to focus on improving employee engagement and motivation." E. McQuillan, Manager, StartBright Learning Centres
