NEW: Remote Learning: Community Reinforcement Approach Training

Posted on 28 Jan 2021

Date: 27 February and 06 March 2021 (Saturdays)

Time: 09.30 - 16.30 (GMT+1) each day

Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) is a behavioural intervention programme designed to support recovery from substance use disorders. This is accomplished by replacing the environmental contingencies that have encouraged alcohol or drug use with prosocial activities and behaviours. Consequently, it utilises social, recreational, familial, and vocational reinforcers to assist consumers in the recovery process. It’s goal is to make a sober lifestyle more rewarding than the use of substances.

This workshop will be delivered live on Zoom: This will allow you to interact with your trainer and other participants in a virtual classroom where, in addition to the workshop content, there will be time built in for live discussions, question & answer sessions and skills practice. You can access the course wherever you have an internet connection; on a desktop, tablet or even a smartphone.

Suitable for: Psychologists, Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Nurse Practitioners, Youth Workers, Social Care Workers

This workshop is eligible for CPD points from The Addiction Counsellors of Ireland.
