Making Space - Business As Usual

On Thursday 15th October in a vacant retail unit within Bow Street Mall, Lisburn a group exhibition of art works generated as part of a connected Making Space Instagram residency during the global pandemic will launch and run until Sunday 25th October.

Led by artist, Niamh Meehan as part of the Voluntary Arts Ireland Making Space initiative, the exhibition will feature a range of work including live performances, sculpture, sound works, painting and more, with daily opening times 10:00-17:00 except Sunday 13:00-17:00.



Business as Usual features the work of Sinead Kerr, Áine O’Hara, Aoife Ward & Ali Farrelly, Joãn Manoel Feliciano, Brennagh Meehan, Sinead O’Neill-Nicholl, Johanna Nulty, Susan Hughes, Drydan Wilson, Conor O’Grady, Aoife O’Connor, Riona Kearns, Rachel MacManus, Mollie Douthit, Shonagh Kelly, Vasiliki Stasinaki, Amalia Shipman-Mueller, Marta Dyczkowska, Rashelle Reyneveld, Phil Keers, Ben Malcolmson, Helen Sara McLarnon and Cathy Scullion. Musical improvisation in response to the art works will be provided on occasion by Cecily Smith Nesbitt of Rich Music NI and people are invited to share their response to the exhibition by writing messages on the walls, adding a public dialogue to the artists' interpretations.
