Are you interested in social, environmental, and economic issues both at home and abroad? If so, you should consider applying for a place on this year’s SDG Advocate Training, which is part of Saolta, an innovative Development Education programme geared toward those already operating within the Adult and Community Education Sector and who would like to learn more about these topics.

  • During the 8-month training, participants will learn more about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and identify their role as Active Citizens in the community.
  • The SDG Advocate Training brings together a team of 26 adult educators with different life experience, skills and perspectives to share in the motivation, design and action for a more just and sustainable future.

Development Perspectives has partnered with AONTAS, Concern Worldwide, Irish Rural Link and the Department of Adult and Community Education at Maynooth University to design and deliver SAOLTA. “Saolta” is a new strategic partnership with Irish Aid. Other elements of the journey include coaching and mentoring as well as the design and delivery of innovative action projects across the country.

Closing Date for applications is 26th February 2021
