OVERVIEW
- The SERVE overseas project is only one piece of the Volunteer Programme.
- When you accept the placement you’re signing up to a seven month programme (training days and zoom info sessions)
- The seven month programme includes training days in Cork and online info session
- Emphasis on Global Citizenship Education (GCE)
- Creative work: blogs and SDG videos
- You are also required to attend one face to face debrief weekend.
FUNDRAISING
Your fundraising target is €3,495. This covers your:
- pre-departure training
- insurance
- accommodation at your volunteer placement
- flights to volunteer placement
- grants for work with our overseas partners
- de-brief weekend.
