Preparing your Annual Report to the Charities Regulator (Webinar, 27 Sept)
The Charities Regulator is holding a free webinar on Wednesday 27 September 2023 at 1pm to assist registered charities in preparing their annual reports. The webinar will also include guidance on confirming a charity’s compliance with the Charities Governance Code.
During the webinar, the Regulator will also answer any questions you may have on how to select the most appropriate classification for your charity from the new standards, if you have not yet done so.
Why is this important?
All registered charities must complete and submit an annual report to the Charities Regulator within 10 months of their financial year end. For many organisations this date will be 31 October 2023.
As well as being a legal obligation for a registered charity to complete, some of the contents of a charity’s annual report are published on the online public Register of Charities, making it an important way to provide information to the public on your finances and activities in the previous year.
