The Leaders for Change programme is for those in management and senior management positions in the nonprofit sector, or those aspiring to be. The programme places significant emphasis on group learning, personal reflection and combines this with high level academic theory to promote real growth and learning for participants. Over 120 nonprofit leaders have come through the programme in recent years. The lecturers are drawn both from academia, and from qualified and experienced senior managers/CEOs who work within capacity-building and research organisations within the nonprofit sector in Ireland and internationally.
This established and popular programme will provide learners with a broad range of practical skills and cutting-edge knowledge to tackle the leadership challenges facing community and voluntary organisations, charities and social enterprises today. Rooted in empirical evidence and the latest management thinking, the modules range from Ethical Leadership and Outcome Measurement to Change Management and Model Leadership Behaviours. This programme offers leaders the opportunity to step back from the day-to-day pressures to engage with strategic questions amongst a peer community of learners.
