A total of €427,358 is available under this fund. I am happy to inform you that from 09.00 today Friday 4th March 2022, applications to this fund are now being welcomed by the Dublin City Local Community Development Committee (LCDC).

The Dublin City CAF is intended to support proposals benefitting one or more of the priority target groups for 2022 agreed by the Dublin City Local Community Development Committee (LCDC). The target groups are:

  1. People experiencing challenges to their mental health and wellbeing;
  2. Older people and those vulnerable to isolation;
  3.  Travellers/ Roma;
  4. Long term unemployed;
  5. New communities; and,
  6. Parents and marginalised children with a focus on childcare and afterschool services.

Applications to the Dublin City CAF should also demonstrate how their proposal will contribute to Goal 2 of the Dublin City Local Economic and Community Plan 2016 - 2021: “Work in partnership with communities to promote social inclusion, tackle poverty and disadvantage and promote participation, empowerment and positive social change”.
