ECO-UNESCO, in conjunction with SpunOut.ie, is delighted to announce that the launch of our Youth Climate Justice Survey 2020 Report will take place on Thursday, February 18th, 2021 at 10:30 am by the Minister for Children Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth,  Roderic O’Gorman TD.

We will be launching a report outlining the survey results collected from over 1,000 young Irish people.

This survey was conducted online through a collaboration of ECO-UNESCO and SpunOut.ie. The purpose of this survey is to highlight how young people in Ireland feel about climate justice issues, what are the barriers to their engagement, what actions they take, what their knowledge is on this topic and what supports they would like; the survey also included open-ended responses towards their vision for the future.

This survey was part of the Youth Climate Justice Challenge, a consortium project, led by ECO-UNESCO in collaboration with SpunOut, Girls Brigade, Girl Guides, No Name Club and Young Irish Filmmakers with support from the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth.
