If you had one hour, what could you do? You could get an extra hour of sleep in the morning. You could get a great workout in. You could finish one episode of Game of Thrones - sorry for giving you flashbacks but yes, even we want a re-do of that last season.
But what if we told you that in just one hour, we could set in motion a domino effect that dramatically changes our fate (and the planet's) for the next decade and beyond?
On March 28, at 8:30 pm your local time, Earth Hour will provide just that opportunity. As we place the spotlight on the two critical (and related) planetary issues - nature loss and climate change - the world will be watching.
But more importantly, world leaders will be watching. In only a few month's time, these same world leaders will come together during key global conferences to set the environmental agenda for the next decade. Important decisions will be made on climate action, nature, and sustainable development - decisions that will directly affect the fate of humanity for years to come.
Earth Hour has the power to build the global momentum we need to change the direction of these conferences later in the year. However, getting to this world stage requires cities to come together. For cities to come together we need communities to unite - and for communities to unite, we need your support.
