Venture Out Wilderness Project believe that every participant has their own unique set of personal needs and desires, while we also strongly believe the necessary strengths and skills to address and meet these needs lie within. Through our work, we place great trust in these inner qualities and design our programmes with the view to reinforcing and building upon them. By adopting this approach, we provide people with an opportunity to build self-confidence and self awareness, while developing a range of strategies to overcome the challenges they face.

What is your goal?
To promote health and wellbeing through the delivery of a range of outdoor-based personal development programmes
How have you been working towards it?
We deliver a range of programmes nationally with people from disadvantaged and marginalised communitities
How has being a member of The Wheel helped?
We have benefited greatly from their advice and guidance in relation to lots of areas of business from legal structure, governance and policy development. We also find their training and news updated to be of great value
How can people support you?
They can promote our work amongst their peer group and publicly by liking and sharing our content on social media. They can donate directly through our social media channels and they can spread the word about our services by sharing information with contacts they have within the social care field.
Do you have any success stories to share?
We have seen our programmes change the lives of a number of the participants we have engaged in recent years, altering their perspective on life and changing the way they see themselves and the world around them. The programmes we deliver have the potential to be incredibly impactful and life changing experiences and we are incredibly proud of the work we do.
