Lockdowns Unlock Innovations Report Launch

Date: Thursday 12 August, 2021

Time: 11.30am - 12.30pm

Location: Online Zoom Webinar

The National Disability Authority would like to invite you to attend the virtual launch of our report ‘Lockdowns Unlock Innovations: innovations and adaptations affecting persons with disabilities arising from COVID-19 restrictions’.

The widespread and unprecedented disruption caused by COVID-19 created the space and an appetite for change. Our report highlights innovations, learning and adapted practices that emerged during the pandemic that are of relevance to persons with disabilities. It points in particular to new policies and practices which may endure post COVID-19. It is hoped that this report will help to embed this recent learning and innovation, and may even inspire further innovation.

The agenda for this event will include presentations by the report authors, persons with disabilities and persons involved in service provision. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers following the presentations. A more detailed event programme will be made available shortly on the NDA website.

If you would like to attend, please register by Monday 9th August. Both Irish Sign Language interpretation and real-time captioning will be available at this event.

You are welcome to share this invitation with relevant contacts in your network who may be interested in this topic.
