Free R.E.A.C.H. Resources Co-Designed with People Living with Chronic Pain
Chronic Pain Ireland (CPI) and Dublin City University (DCU) have developed a suite of free R.E.A.C.H. for Movement resources, co-designed with people with lived experience of chronic pain.
Living with chronic pain can make decisions about movement and physical activity challenging, particularly when pain, fatigue, sleep and energy levels can vary from day to day. R.E.A.C.H. supports people to make informed, personalised choices about movement based on how they are feeling.
The free resources include Getting Started videos, Stories That Move You, a Movement Decision Guide, Movement Journal and Movement Infographic.
People living with chronic pain were central to the co-design process, working alongside Chronic Pain Ireland and researchers at DCU to help ensure the resources are practical, accessible and reflect the realities of living with chronic pain.
Community and voluntary organisations, healthcare professionals and other services supporting people living with chronic pain are encouraged to share these free resources with their members, service users and networks.
